Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy
Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy is the application of pulsed (intermittent) magnetic energy to the body, influencing cell behavior by inducing electrical changes around, and within the cell. Pulsed magnetic field therapy improves blood supply to the affected area and increases oxygen concentration in the tissues. It has also been shown to improve calcium transport in the cells, thereby increasing absorption of calcium in bones and improving the quality of cartilage in joints, and decreasing pain from osteoporosis.
Pulsed electro magnetic energy is based on more than 30 years of worldwide research carried out by renowned scientists. The magnetic field surrounding the earth is one of the major forces that allow life to exist on the planet. Numerous studies have indicated that many of the "diseases of civilization", particularly degenerative processes, are due to a weakened or absent magnetic field in one’s environment. This in turn disrupts the electromagnetic field around the body that normally serves to organize and direct biochemical processes causing imbalances within the body.
Indications
- Bone fractures
- Sports injuries
- Osteoporosis
