One of the mandates of IMI as well as of IMI FOUNDATION is to facilitate the creation and development of an integrated Naturopathic Medical program at an Alberta University.

The TRUE integration of medicines to benefit society cannot happen without training the appropriate front-line care-givers. Medical school graduates would be able to achieve a combined MD-ND degree with an additional 2 years of study and practicum while a 4 year course of study would be available for a doctor of naturopathic medicine to others with at least 2 years of university education.

These MD-ND's will become the front runners of medical delivery and with this integrated approach will stem the burgeoning medical crisis of our times.
